Training in 1st and 2nd Trimester Limited OB Ultrasound:
With a minimum of 50 scans your nurses will receive hands on training, experienced instruction and skills assessment through dedicated professionals. This course is designed by Experienced Sonographers to meet the growing need for trained medical professionals within the Pregnancy Care setting. At the completion of this course you can be confident in your skills to:

Assess the appropriate need for a limited OB ultrasound.

Have a basic knowledge of the physics and workings of ultrasound equipment.

Training in both transabdominal and transvaginal techniques.

Determination of intra vs. extra uterine pregnancy- Identify and measurement of yolk sac, gestational sac, fetal pole, fetal cardiac activity and in the 2nd trimester (biparietal diameter).

Recognizing signs of normal versus abnormal findings.
